The test lead

Within one business day after you paste a key or link into your portal, we send one test lead.

• Name: VLN Test
• Phone: a fake number that cannot be called
• Email: a fake address
• Cost: nothing. Test leads are never billed.

1. Look for it in your CRM, Zap, Make scenario, or sheet. Search for VLN Test.

2. Reply “got it” in your portal (the CRM connection card has a button) or reply to the text message you received when the test lead went out.

3. Done. Your CRM connection is marked live. From then on every real lead goes to your portal, your email, your phone, and your CRM.

If it did not arrive

Check the Common problems section on your CRM’s guide first. Then reply not yet to the text, or use Book a call in your portal. Real leads keep coming by email and text the whole time, so you never miss one while we sort out the connection.

Delete the test lead afterwards

Once you have confirmed, delete VLN Test from your CRM so it does not sit in your pipeline. That is the only lead from us you should ever delete.
